Jonathan is the Chief Financial Officer at MiddleGround Capital, bringing over two decades of experience in private equity. Jonathan spent 17 years at his prior firm, where he played a key role in financial planning, reporting, treasury functions, and tax structuring. He has been hands-on in fund administration throughout his career, from implementing ERP and budgeting systems to supporting IPO transitions. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Baruch College and he is also a CPA.
When he isn’t knee-deep in spreadsheets, Jonathan embraces adventure and risk. Despite having a crippling fear of heights, he took on ziplining and even helicopter flight lessons (though we hear his hands are still a little stiff on the controls). When he isn’t thrill-seeking, Jonathan enjoys hosting pool parties and traveling with his wife and two kids. While he loves traveling and trying different types of cuisines, he has ONE limit… insects are strictly off the menu (can’t say we disagree with him on that one).
