Bobby Parks is a Senior Fabricator based in our Automation office. After starting out as a paint contractor in Louisville, he moved to Lexington to work at Toyota. Over his 25-year career with Toyota, he climbed through the ranks, held positions in leadership, and increased his expertise in fabricating and manufacturing processes. Bobby worked closely with our Managing Director of Operations John Dotson, at Toyota which ultimately led him to join the MiddleGround Team.
Bobby is a family man through and through, and although his family has serious ties to Eastern Kentucky University (where his daughters were on the cheer team and his wife coaches), he secretly bleeds blue for the Kentucky Wildcats. One of his daughters is trained to work with special needs children and their family dog, Remy, is emotional support certified and works alongside her in the classroom (cue the happy tears). But now that his three kids are moving out and started their independent lives, Bobby is looking forward to road-tripping with his amazingly extroverted wife who knows everyone on this side of the Mississippi. You’ll probably see the two of them at a Buccee’s getting some beef jerky, but be wary of saying hi because Bobby is on a deadline to drive straight through to their destination.
