Wes Brown is an Associate on our Transaction team. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Vermont and is the first Catamount at MiddleGround (Vermont’s mascot… don’t ask). He joined us from BMO Capital Markets, where he was most recently an Associate in its healthcare group, providing debt, equity, and M&A services to healthcare services and life science companies.
Wes might just be the first native New Yorker to move to Kentucky without any ties to the state. But as an outdoorsman (catch him in camo hats on calls) who grew up skiing almost half the year and thrives when fly fishing knee-deep in river water, he was looking for a way to work in finance while connecting to nature. Enter MiddleGround. Despite his love for Lexington, he does miss the skateparks of New York. Say what you will about his status as an adult skater boy, but you watch him do a backside heelflip and tell us you’re not impressed.
