Tim Curley
Managing Director, Transaction Team
Tim is a Managing Director on the Transaction Team, focusing on exits and realizations. Before joining MiddleGround, Tim spent nearly two decades at BMO Capital Markets, where he helped build their Industrials Investment Banking team and led BMO’s Transportation and Diversified Manufacturing investment banking practice. Tim advised public companies, private equity-backed businesses, and family-owned enterprises on M&A, capital raises, and strategic financings. He earned his BS in Finance and Economics from Villanova University.
Born and raised in Queens, NY, Tim grew up with a big enough family to fill a small neighborhood (literally, he has 25 first cousins) but was the only one to cross the Hudson and settle in Jersey… a move that’s still a sore spot at family gatherings. Tim is a loyal NY sports fan and proud Villanova Wildcat (he calls them “the real Wildcats” to the many UK Wildcat fans in our Lexington office). He also embraces his role as a girl dad: his three daughters keep him busy with annual Disney trips, coaching their sports teams, and the occasional nail painting session. When he’s not keeping up with them, Tim enjoys fishing, gardening, and cooking with his better half, Amanda.
