Taylor Cochran is an Associate Counsel in our Compliance Office. Taylor holds a degree in Homeland Security from Eastern Kentucky University in addition to a J.D. from Northern Kentucky University’s Chase College of Law. After graduating in 2021, she worked at the Department of Public Advocacy in Harlan before making her way to Lexington, where she discovered MiddleGround and never left.
Hailing from Harlan (which is about as far east in Kentucky as you can get), Taylor is an Appalachian through and through with a deep appreciation for nature. While gardening outdoors isn’t particularly her strong suit, she’s something of an indoor plant sorceress, propagating and cultivating a thriving jungle of leafy green houseplants. Aside from her greenery, she has a mild obsession with her two dachshunds, Sadie and Rex, and finds any opportunity to sport them around the office. If you plan on attending a dinner party at Taylor’s, make sure she’s not the chef… While she’s skilled in law and regulations, she lacks culinary aptitude, stating that her signature dish is “scrambled eggs.”
