Sebastian is an Investment Associate based in our Amsterdam office. He joined us from an Associate position at Harris Williams where he worked with fellow MiddleGrounder Sarah Varghese (who thankfully convinced him to join us)! Prior to his career in Investment Banking, Sebastian obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and his Master’s of Science from the University of Mannheim.
Sebastian’s education came with some incredible experiences abroad! The German-native spent a semester in Mexico honing his Spanish (and developing a taste for Mexican food), a semester in Brazil learning Portuguese, and a year in… Fitzgerald, Georgia? You read that right, Sebastian spent a year studying at a Georgia high school where he got the true American experience. In a town known for its wild chickens, his host family signed him up to play American football, and he ended up as the Kicker on the local high school team… almost sounds like a teen movie plot from the early 2000’s. Having lived in so many unique places, one of his passions is traveling and integrating into new cultures.
