Rachel Zhou
Senior Associate, Transaction
Rachel is a Senior Associate on our Transaction Team. Prior to joining MiddleGround, she was a Private Equity Associate at AEA Investors, where she worked on platform and add-on investments across consumer and business services. Rachel began her career at Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Industrials group. She holds a BS in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, Rachel can usually be found exploring New York’s restaurant scene, squeezing in a Pilates or yoga class, or catching a comedy show or film (she’s firmly pro seeing movies in theaters). She loves to travel and makes a point of returning to China every couple of years to visit family in Beijing, with Montreal, Copenhagen, and Chicago also high on her list of favorite cities. When she’s not out and about, Rachel is at home with her two cats, Frisky and Diesel, aptly named as they make sure no room is ever truly quiet.
