Julie Sekinger

Julie is a Vice President on the Transaction Team focusing on capital markets. Before joining MiddleGround, Julie was a VP in the Capital Advisory Group at Lincoln International, where she advised clients on acquisition financings, recapitalizations, refinancings, and restructurings. Her experience spans various industries, including industrials, automotive, manufacturing, and healthcare. Julie holds a BS in Finance with minors in Accounting and Spanish from DePaul University.

Outside of work, Julie stays busy working out, hunting down the best new restaurants, and hitting the slopes on her annual snowboard trips (a skill she first picked up on Ohio’s very flat slopes). She and her husband, Venka, are a perfect team when it comes to food: she handles the meal planning, and he does the cooking (a division of labor she’s quite happy with). Some of her favorite trips include a honeymoon safari in South Africa and the fateful yacht week in Croatia, where she met Venka. Next up on her itinerary? Italy and Greece… Because carbs and coastlines are a tough combo to beat.
