Ben Jean is an Associate on our Business Development Team. He earned his BSc. In Business Administration with a concentration in Finance & Accounting from Florida A&M University where he was an active participant in the Finance Club and fell in love with the language of finance. Before joining MiddleGround Capital, Ben worked as a Senior Associate at J.P. Morgan Middle Market & Specialized Industries group where he worked on new deal sourcing and relationship management. Previously, Ben worked at Fifth Third Bank Corporate & Investment Banking -Technology, Media, and Telecom group where he worked on a variety of M&A and corporate banking transactions.
Ben is a sports enthusiast through and through and has even hopped on the pickleball train… we’ll see how long it takes him to master the cross-court dink. He also loves to travel and has historically taken two international trips a year! Although he normally travels with family & friends, Ben also discovered a love for solo travel following his trip to Costa Rica. We like to picture him sipping fruity beverages out of exotic, hollowed-out fruits in the middle of the jungle.
