We often learn something and continue to do it the same way for a long time – maybe even forever. That’s just human nature. 

At MiddleGround, we fight this tendency and strive for continuous improvement. Last week, I had the privilege of participating in MiddleGround’s first Boot Camp, hosted by Steel Craft with participants from all 3 of our portfolio companies.

I was in the presence of Steel Craft’s fearless leaders and dedicated employees while we looked at ways in which we could help improve their job processes and increase efficiency. I was able to speak with them and learn from them, and most importantly include them in the changes that would affect them most of all.

An experience like this was a reminder to always question why something is done a certain way and try to make it better.
