Hani is an Associate on our EU Transaction Team based out of Amsterdam. He holds his Bachelor’s of Engineering from Durham University. After a few years working on Zipcar’s Analytics team, he obtained a Master’s in Finance from EDHEC Business School in Nice. Following his degree, he moved back to London, where he gained experience in RBC’s Industrials team and more recently at Rothschild & Co, working on M&A transactions in the Automotive sector.
Hani loves exploring new cities, which is why before joining MiddleGround he spent a few months living in Tbilisi, Yerevan, Baku and Sarajevo. With his analogue camera in hand, he enjoys capturing his travels on film. It’s obvious Hani’s not in a rush when it comes to his hobbies. You’ll often see him by the pantry in the Amsterdam office making pour-over coffees, though he’s yet to convert the rest of the team to single-origin brews. Hani’s dream when he retires one day is to tour across Japan with his friends, better known as the Berlin 6, which sounds like a great plot for a Murakami novel. He hopes the investment knowledge he gained while becoming a CFA Charterholder will help him make this happen sooner.
