Fang is a Controller in our Amsterdam office following extensive accounting experience across the tech industry. Her most recent role was the Associate Director of Global Accounting at Hopin, but she’s also worked with Nutanix, Activision, Sonos, and Avery Dennison. Fang has her Bachelors in International Business and Management from De Haagse Hogeschool with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. She also had the opportunity to study abroad in Bangkok in 2012.
While Fang is originally from Hunan, China, she has lived in the Netherlands since she was 19 and feels at home in the city. She’s even able to get great Chinese food in Amsterdam and will have to show us the best stops! If you can’t tell from her international moves, Fang is committed to pushing herself and is willing to try anything. We have three prime examples: First, she challenged herself to only use the stairs at her past job… which was on the 18th floor… and she stuck to it for over a year. Second, she agreed to try bouldering despite a huge fear of heights and it’s now her latest hobby. And third, she (voluntarily) did a three day fast; she claims that the third day without food makes you feel energized and crystal clear, we’re going to have to ask Sierra if this is recommended!
