Daniel is an Associate on our Amsterdam-based Operations Team. He holds his bachelor’s degree in international business administration from Otto Beisheim School of Management in addition to his Master of Science in finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Although Daniel is on our operations team, his experience has primarily been in investment. Most recently, he acted as an Investment Associate with Swiss-German multi-family office, Winterberg Group AG, and prior worked with Seale & Associates, Inc. in Mexico City, where he was part of numerous sell-side mandates involving U.S., Mexican and German companies.
Daniel’s international career path means that he has plenty of experience with executing transactions globally, but ALSO means he has plenty of entertaining stories about life abroad! When he first moved to Mexico City, he didn’t have his Mexican passport… and was technically an “illegal” immigrant for the first couple of months. When we asked where he lived has the best food (Kuala Lampur, Germany, or Mexico), the answer was immediate: Mexico. But when you dig in further you realize that Daniel’s love for Mexican food might run a little too deeply… since he ended up with food poisoning 6-7x and never learned his lesson to avoid the street food. Thankfully, he’s safe from repeating his mistakes in Amsterdam.
